No doubt, the game would be extremely boring to just dribble up the field and score every play. The buttons remain constant from the previous FIFA games, so regular users are able to adjust quickly from year to year. First time players are able to join in the fun immediately because the buttons are not very complicated. There is a pass button, a long pass button, a lead pass button, a sprint button and a shoot button. When you move the direction pad the player that you are controlling will mimic the exact motion that you want, you essentially control the soccer player. The ability to easily change the player that is controlled allows you to have power over the entire team. Although there are variations of shots and different ways to dribble, a sufficient effort can be made using a combination of the basic controls. Similar to authentic soccer you get better at the game as you continue to play. This game is one that anyone can master with time. |
