Conclusion

The emergence of technology has greatly increased the amount of media that is available to the public. This increased concentration of media is not only changing the ways we are acquiring our information but changing the ways we interact with each other. Technology is not the only thing that has affected the media that we choose to view or listen to. Social upbringing and status also have a large effect on the media outlets we prefer. Lastly human nature dictates the type of media we enjoy; people do not want to look at a white computer screen with black font, they want to see pictures and colors.
